Why we're doing it

25 people every day in the UK have an amputation due to diabetes complications, which adds up to 9,360 amputees per year. However, these amputations are largely preventable through sustainable lifestyle changes.

To help in our efforts to reverse the type 2 diabetes epidemic, Public Health Collaboration (Charity no. 1171887/SC052248) are seeking to initially raise at least £9,360. This will better equip us to improve our NHS delivered courses that help people aim for type 2 diabetes and prediabetes remission. It will also help us with our research study in collaboration with the University of Surrey.
